Elkon Mining Metallurgical Plant (Elkon MMP) Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
The plant was established in November 2007 for developing deposits of the Elkon uranium-ore district being one of the world’s largest (319 thous. uranium tons, or 6% of world’s extracted reserves). The company is engaged in geophysical works, exploration, mining and processing of uranium ores.
