Irkutsk Hosts 2018 ATOMEX REGION Annual Regional Forum of Nuclear Industry Suppliers

The forum is organized by the mining division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation (ARMZ Uranium Holding Co./Atomredmetzoloto, JSC).

"The main goal of the forum is to develop a competitive environment, attract more suppliers, provide increased publicity and transparency in the procurement activities of enterprises of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation," Aleksey Shichkov, Purchasing Director of Atomredmetzoloto, JSC, said opening the discussion platform.

Heads of divisions providing purchases of goods and services of the mining division enterprises (PIMCU, PJSC), Khiagda, JSC, Dalur, JSC, Rusburmash, JSC, VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC, ARMZ Service, LLC), presented at the forum the needs of enterprises in the medterm. Participants discussed in open dialogue the issues of development of the nuclear industry procurement system.

According to Aleksey Zaitsev, Deputy Commercial Director of ARMZ Service, LLC, the enterprises of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. significantly increased the volume of purchases in 2018. This is due to the implementation of such large-scale projects as the construction of new mine No. 6 in Krasnokamensk, the development of uranium deposits in the Republic of Buryatia and the Kurgan region, preparations for the construction of a lead-zinc plant on the Novaya Zemlya Archipelago.

Erzhena Zhalsaraeva, Head of the Legal Department of Atomkomplekt, JSC (authorized body of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation for procurement with contract price of more than RUB 100 million for nuclear organizations) introduced the forum participants to the peculiarities of the procurement system in the outline of ROSATOM enterprises. She also talked about the system of requirements for suppliers, and also answered questions from representatives of the business community of the region. Svetlana Lysenko, Secretary of the Central Arbitration Committee of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation told about the purchase controls and claims procedure. In particular, she dwelt upon the complaints procedure in case of illegal actions of the bidding organizers. The forum participants were reminded of the anti-theft hotline service: 8-800-100-07-07. Representatives of the Autonomous Non-Governmental Organization ROSATOM Corporate Academy conducted training for the forum participants on preparing bids for participation in procurement procedures.

According to Aleksey Shichkov, the enterprises of the mining division are open for cooperation: "We are interested in attracting the maximum number of reliable and responsible suppliers, both among manufacturing enterprises and large companies, and among small and medium enterprises, since a large number of bidders allows enterprises of the mining division receive high-quality goods and services at lowest prices."

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
