212 School Students, Children of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. Employees, Passed School Year with Perfect Grades
All of them participated in the corporate program called Rosatom’s Schoolchild: Collect a Bag of “Excellent” Scores.
Celebrations for the outstanding students were conducted in Moscow and at all enterprises of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. “As the corporation of knowledge, ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation accumulates the best minds and does everything to ensure technological leadership. The industry program helps to reach that goal by stimulating the next generation from the very young age to achieve excellent results and, of course, ensures the intergenerational continuity. That is why our achievements are recognized all around the world,” says the Human Resources Director of the Mining Division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation Stanislav Anikeev.
Boys and girls in Moscow gathered in the Zaryadye Park near Kremlin. The celebration began with the graduation ceremony and the welcome word from the parents working in the nuclear industry who spoke to the children about the nuclear fuel cycle of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation. The kids learned how uranium is produced and tried to do it themselves by completing a thematic quest.
In Krasnokamensk, where the largest Russian uranium-producing enterprise Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union PSJC (PIMCU, PJSC) is located, the outstanding students were honored in Dauriya Community Center. Performers of the community center showed their best dances and songs for the children and their parents. The celebration was topped off with a dancing flash-mob.
Second year student Andrey Samusenko came to celebrate with his mother, the leading repair engineer of the PIMCU leach plant Olesya Katsay. He said that he finished this school year with only one non-excellent mark – it was a “good” for Russian language, and that his favorite subject was mathematics. “I’ll catch up in the third year,” promises Andrey.
Khiagda, JSC organized the celebration in Chita and Dalur, JSC gave the outstanding students a small tour of the company. The participants took home good mood, company-themed presents and most importantly – new knowledge and the desire to expand it. The students promised to not only rest during the summer vacation, but also to get ready for the next school year to continue successfully participating in the Rosatom’s Schoolchild program.
