JSC "Khiagda" is a leader of the Rosatom Production System

JSC "Khiagda", which is a part of the management of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., is recognized as a leader of the Rosatom Production System. This was announced at a meeting of the Management Board of the project "Integrated optimization of production at nuclear industry enterprises" which was attended by heads of the State Corporation Rosatom and directors of enterprises participating in deployment of the Rosatom Production system (RPS). Alexey Likhachev, Head of the State Corporation gave awards to the companies – leaders by results achieved at the end of 2017: JSC Khiagda, FSUE Mayak Production Association, JSC OKB Gidropress.

According to General Director of JSC "Khiagda" Andrey Gladyshev: "Achieving the status of leader of the RPS" is confirmation that we are moving in the right direction. We have fulfilled the goals we set for ourselves. The status of RPS leader implies several directions. First, we confirmed that we have met our business targets. Second, we have met qualitative and quantitative indicators, which were evaluated by independent experts from other companies of the industry. Third, we are doing serious work in terms of involvement. According to the results of the survey, in this year, about 70% of employees understand importance of this work. Systematically, step by step, we went to this goal. And our work recognition is awarding the status of RPS leader. Now, our task is to keep it and achieve even greater results.”

We would like to remind that in February of this year in JSC Khiagda partnership development inspection of deployment quality of the Rosatom Production system (EPIQ) was held.

Representatives of State Corporation Rosatom, Rosatom Corporate Academy and also Novosibirsk chemical concentrates plant headed by Dmitry Davydov, Deputy General Director on quality and standardization, were involved in the EPIQ.

It was especially emphasized that, in 2017, the company completed 54 "RPS projects". And this is almost ten times more than in previous years.

Among production-related "RPS-projects" with the greatest economic effect, the following are mentioned: reducing the processes time (VPP) at construction works at Vershinny field and production of finished products; logistics system optimization and use of new technologies for well repair works.

Office "RPS – projects" which made a profit were highly appreciated as well. One of them is "Increasing economic effect of competitive procurement procedures," by Alexander Vasiliev, Chief of Department on procurement. The essence of the project is as follows: formerly our service providers monitored by themselves when the competitive procedure starts. Thereby, they lost time or did not manage to submit documents in time. Today, the procurement division undertakes the function of sending notifications to suppliers interested in purchasing. And the more participants, the greater economic effect. In addition, such tools as "rebidding" and "pre-contractual negotiations to reduce the cost", which were optional, become mandatory. According to experts, the economic effect of this "RPS-project" is amounted to about 13 million rubles.

It should be noted that enterprises – "leaders of RPS" - receive a package of privileges: business coach visits to the enterprise, ability for employees to visit foreign and Russian advanced enterprises for sharing experiences, certificates for training at the Rosatom Corporate Academy and others.

In general, the Expert Committee recognized high level of JSC "Khiagda" development within the Rosatom Production System. Currently, implementation at the enterprise of lean manufacturing practice makes it possible to achieve significant savings and stocks reduction in warehouses.
