Pupils of Uksianskoye Village Passing Professional Tryouts at Dalur JSC
Pupils of grades 8-10 arrived in the uranium mining enterprise within the framework of implementing the inter-departmental project Trans-Ural Navigator Professional Orientation Technopolis. The tests were held for the professions in high demand at Dalur JSC: laboratory assistant of chemical analysis, expert in the field of instrumentation and automation, technician for automated control systems for operation procedures, technical operation and maintenance of electrical and electromechanical equipment.
The kids were told about these jobs, got acquainted with the production processes at workplaces and completed several tasks together with the curators. Afterwards, the pupils underwent a reflex and coordination test, filled in the self-assessment results and compared it with the results of the external assessment of the curator. The testing showed that the majority of participants in professional tryouts are suitable for further training and work at Dalur.
Leonid Ivanchikov, Head of the HR Department, stressed out as follows: “We are constantly working on recruiting personnel, especially young people. After all, our developing company is in need for good experts. We started the scandium extraction soon to be followed by the development of the Dobrovolnoye uranium field, thus, these are new jobs”.
