ARMZ Annual Report 2015 Won the Award for Commitment to the Principles of Openness and Transparency
On 16 November, the XIII Annual Training Conference “Annual Report: Experience of Leaders and New Standards” organized by the rating agency RAEX (Expert RA) took place. At the conference, the results of annual report research and rating for 2015 were announced. Following the contest results, the winner companies were invited to participate in the awarding ceremony. The award panel awarded the annual report compiled by Atomredmetzoloto JSC in the nomination “Commitment to the Principles of Openness and Transparency”.

At the conference, Victoria Dolina, Head of CSR and Non-Financial Reporting, presented a brief summary of a small research on the topic “Practicing Compliance with International Certification Standards and Procedures (illustrated by the best reports according to ReportWatch 2016)” with an analysis of the best Russian reports carried out, which was included in the Annual Report of Annual Reports rating for certification of the information to be included in their report.
During the XIII Annual Conference, “Expert RA” (RAEX) presented an annual reporting quality rating. The company has done that for the fifth consecutive year. In terms of development quality, the ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. (Atomredmetzoloto JSC) Integrated Annual Report was named one of the TOP-10 reports. The rating of annual reports drawn up at year-end 2015 featured the companies from Russia and Russia’s neighboring states (Kazakhstan, Latvia, Ukraine). The research was conducted based on the annual reports of 100 companies. Manufacturing (80%) and financial (20%) companies participated in this year’s rating. In 2016, 69 traditional annual reports, 14 “two-volume” reports (the traditional annual report and the sustainability report, the social or the environmental report), as well as 15 integrated reports, were brought for the analysis. For your information: 62 out of 100 companies provided traditional reports, 22 provided the “two-volume” ones and 16 presented integrated reports for the last year’s rating.
The fact that the companies have started to qualitatively disclose information about the market of their operation has become a positive change in the rating 2016. This section uncovers information about the competitive environment, the market share of the company, the market growth prospects and the changes occurring to the said market. It is best presented in the annual reports of Rosatom, RSC Energia, Atomredmetzoloto and TransContainer.
