Drilling operations in blocks 2-2 and 2-3 have been completed in Khokhlovsky Deposit in Shumikhinsky District. JSC RUSBURMASH (drilling and exploration company of ARMZ Uranium Holding) has drilled 136 wells. Block 2-2 was entered into operation in October, acidification of Block 2-3 is being planned for December of this year. To remind our readers, the enterprise started receiving productive solutions from Block 1-2 in January, and from Block 2-1 in the summer. Overall in 2016 Khokhlovskoe Deposit will contribute more than 150 tons of uranium, and in 2017 – more than 200 tons of uranium to the total output of JSC Dalur.
Work is continuing on opening two blocks of Nizhneuksyanskaya bed of Dalmatovskoe Deposit. Despite the great volume of filling at the sites, they will be launched on schedule. In 2017 Nizhneuksyanskaya bed will contribute around 75 tons of metal.
“In 2017 plans are to open one of the blocks at the Western bed of Dolmatovskoe Deposit, four blocks on the Central Production Site, and one block of Nizhneuksyanskaya bed. Carrying out all the operations on schedule will allow to complete the production plan for 2017, i.e. to recover 580 tons of metal,” said Nikolay Lutsenko, Deputy Director for Production of JSC Dalur.
