Atomredmetzoloto held dialogues as a part of preparation of the annual report 2015

On February 18, 2016, two stakeholder dialogues were held as a part of preparation of the integrated public annual report of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. for 2015. The main objective of the dialogues was to discuss the priority theme of the report: "Development of effective uranium production methods".

For the first time, ARMZ held dialogue on an outside venue, at the office of VNIPIpromtekhnologii. This is due to the fact that a special section of the report will include information about the current plans of ARMZ to establish the Engineering Center and its new projects. The report will be the eighth public document highlighting the Company's activities for the past year. The dialogues were attended by representatives of Atomredmetzoloto, Rosatom, government bodies, academic and research institutions, trade union bodies and media. Video conferencing was arranged with the regions where the company operates.

The opening address on the results of the reporting campaign 2015 and the annual report concept was delivered by Ivan Krupyanko, head of PR and GR department. In his speech, he recalled the main goals, objectives and functions of the report, its priority themes and structure. The speaker described the main ways to promote the report, including the release of folders with brief information on the activities of ARMZ. In conclusion, he highlighted the key achievements of the 2014 report, in particular, the fact that it was ranked among the top 5 annual reports 2014 in terms of quality of preparation, according to the international rating agency "Expert RA".

The first part of the dialogue included the report on performance indicators of Khiagda, delivered by its deputy general director Artyom Mikhailov. He mentioned the completion of the sulfuric acid plant among the major achievements of 2015. Improvement of production efficiency became the main priority for the company. Chief geologist Andrey Gladyshev focused in his speech on the prospects of development of the mineral resource base of Khiagda.

An interesting report on 60-year history of successful implementation of uranium projects by VNIPIpromtekhnologii Institute was made by its scientific secretary Yevgeny Kamnev. Head of IT department Maxim Vlasov spoke about the application of geological and mathematical modeling system. Head of advanced development department Roman Kovalev shared the plans to establish the Engineering Center.

Stakeholder representatives made suggestions and recommendations on disclosure of priority themes in the report. The next final dialogue, where the draft annual report is to be discussed, will be held in late April in the form of public consultations.
