A meeting with social entrepreneurs who received grants for business development according to the program organized by ARMZ was held in the administration of Krasnoznamensk
The program started in 2014 when citizens of Krasnoznamensk and the Krasnoznamesk district who defended corresponding business-plans were allocated subsidies for establishing socially oriented firma and individual enterprises. The contest “Start of your business” was held under the slogan “For your own benefit and for the benefit of the city”. It was organized by the Government of the Region, Trans-Baikal Territory Development Fund, “Our future” Regional Social Program Fund and administration of Krasnoznamensk supported by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.
The second contest was held this year. Grants of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. were received by successfully developing socially oriented enterprises. Their founders told at the meeting about the current status, problems with which they had to come across on the difficult way of establishing their own business and future plans.
For example, Roman Petrov, the founder of “Mother and Baby” children’s club sent grant funds for purchasing developing toys for babies. Evgeniy Ishmanov, the owner of “Bar” carpenter’s worskshop purchased a machine tool, by means of which he will be able to produce sand boxes and equipment for children’s playgrounds. Ivan Spiridonov, creator of the agricultural enterprise, bought pigs for breeding and Karina Pilipenko – girasol tubers for planting.
“Krasnoznamensk needs social business development. Thus, we will carefully watch the progress of started project implementation and help social entrepreneurs – noted Marina Liborakina, deputy general director of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. for business strategy and development.
Olga Kannunikova, the acting head of Krasnoznamensk administration, told social entrepreneurs about thea possibility for obtaining preferential creadits for future business development. Such a program is now being implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
