Rosatom makes dreams come true
The late December of 2014 was marked by Cadet Dreams, a charity event, during which the security departments’ staff of Rosatom Corporation wished the students of the Cadet Boarding School n. a. Major General V. A. Khapaev (Tetyushi, Republic of Tatarstan) a Happy New Year.
The event agenda included a celebratory assembly and floral offerings to the memorial complex. The students of the School prepared a gala concert, demonstrating not only their arms handling abilities and formation skills, but their creative side. The children also presented a theater performance, and in the end everyone received gifts.
Rosatom has been a sponsor of the Tetyushi cadet school for several years, supporting its students in many ways. In the meanwhile, ARMZ has been getting more and more involved into the charity work. For instance, last year the security block staff of the ARMZ uranium holding participated in the establishment of the school library, and this year they received letters the cadets had written for Ded Moroz. Sure enough, none of the children’s dreams were left unattended in anticipation of the New Year festivities.
So, the cadet school received brand ice skates, bandies, earphones, and other gifts, all provided at the expense of the ARMZ security block staff members.
Besides Rosatom employees, other special and honored guests also took part in the event, such as veterans of the Soviet war in Afghanistan and the Great Patriotic War, Heroes of the Russian Federation — Umarpasha Khanaliev, FSS Major General, and Oleg Kotov, Pilot-Cosmonaut. Feeling their grand responsibility, the guests taught courage lessons to cadet classes, telling the young motherland defenders real life stories of faithful service to their country, based on nothing but personal and professional experience.
