JSC Atomredmetzoloto summarizes results of “Young Talent” competition
On September 19, 2014, the JSC Atomredmetzoloto office hosted a high-profile ceremony of summarizing the results of the “Young Talent” competition. This year, more than a hundred works were submitted for the contest. The competition was held among students in the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of study from field-specific institutes. Within the framework of the “Young Talent” competition, VNIPIpromtechnologii Engineering Centre additionally awarded students in the 5th year of study with cash prizes.
The contest finalists numbered ten students, of whom six persons already participated in this competition last year, and five of them were awarded with scholarships.
The finalists from Moscow tertiary institutions included three students from the Russian State Geological Prospecting University n. a. Ordzhonikidzе and a student from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. The contest winners from regional tertiary institutions included three students from the Seversky Institute of Technology – branch of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, a student from the Moscow State Mining University, a student from the Siberian Federal University and a student from the Tomsk Polytechnic University.
The winners received a unique opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship at one of the enterprises operated by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., to be included in the “Young Professionals Pool” programme and to get a job at the enterprises within the Holding Company after graduation, and were also awarded with scholarships.
Director General Vladimir Verkhovtsev wished the competition finalists every success in their endeavours and expressed his hope that they will soon become employees of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.
