10 July 2014

Presentation of JSC Atomredmetzoloto Annual Report took place on July 10

Marina Liborakina, head of the working group for drafting the Annual Report, told the guests about the document’s key peculiarities and stages of its preparation. Victoria Dolina, deputy head of the working group, noted that the Report featured the Company’s integrated vision, using the concept of Value Creation for Organization and Stakeholders and the concept of Capitals, which was translated into the ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. business model.

A distinguishing feature of the Report is the fact that it includes brief reports on JSC Rusburmash and JSC VNIPIpromtechnologii performance as special sections because of diversification of the Holding Company’s operations.

The Report has been prepared under the main application version of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4.0 Guidelines.

For the first time, in accordance with the International Integrated Reporting Standard and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4.0 Guidelines, requiring that only relevant information is to be disclosed in the Report, a questionnaire survey was conducted among stakeholder representatives in order to assess relevance of various aspects of data on the Company’s performance and sustainable development. The questionnaire comprised a general list of topics considered as potentially important for disclosure in the Report, including aspects of information outlined in the GRI Guidelines and the Public Reporting Standards of the ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation, as well as by the Company. Respondents were asked to assess relevance of each aspect of information on the basis of the five-grade scale and to suggest their own significant aspects. Following the survey results, significant aspect matrix was drawn up for subsequent disclosure of these aspects in the Report. As a result, this year’s Report volume was considerably decreased down to 135 pages.

The presentation guests involved business partners of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., representatives from public organizations and professional communities, as well as employees of the Holding Company’s enterprises – JSC Rusburmash, JSC VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC Dalur, JSC Khiagda and JSC PIMCU. Many of them were directly engaged in preparing the JSC Atomredmetzoloto 2013 Annual Report within the campaign for stakeholder interaction.

Sergey Golovachev, representative from ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation, told the guests about the development of the public reporting system in the nuclear industry, paying attention to a unique nature of the public report preparation process for the entire Corporation.

Inna Mezhanskaya, head of an agency, which developed the layout design concept of the Report, informed the presentation participants about the main creative solutions used in this year’s Report design.

Mikhail Kuznetsov, Director General of LLC Centre of Corporate Development, emphasized that it is undoubtedly worthy of respect that ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. has continued its activities in the area of sustainability and preserved the tradition for releasing Annual Reports in spite of difficult circumstances on the uranium market, production optimization and budget sequestering.

At the end of the presentation, Notes of Acknowledgement from the JSC Atomredmetzoloto Director General were awarded to:
- Natalya Sizyomina, Senior Public Relations Officer, JSC RUSBURMASH;
- Grigoriy Mashkovtsev, Director General of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Mineral Resources named after N.M.Fedorovsky”;
- Inna Mezhanskaya, Director General of JSC Souvenir Design.

Marina Liborakina, head of the working group, expressed gratitude to everyone for their meaningful and committed participation in the 2014 reporting campaign.

We use cookies and similar tools across our websites to improve their performance and enhance your user experience.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyze how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies won’t collect information that identifies you, and will instead collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use our websites, or a user’s general location.

Does anyone else use cookies on ARMZ websites?
Advertisers sometimes use their own cookies to provide you with targeted advertising. For example, advertisers may use a profile they have built on sites that you have previously visited to present you with more relevant advertisements during your visit to our site. We believe that it is useful to our users to see advertisements that are more relevant to their interests. Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
