Chinese companies China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd. and Sinopec Corp., in cooperation with ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., are to implement 1,000 tons per day cement factory construction project in Krasnokamensk

Construction will be carried out within the framework of the project to create a mining and metallurgical cluster in the south-east of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The enterprise’s resource base will comprise the Ust-Borzinskoye limestone deposit and the Urtuiskoye open-pit coal mine owned by Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union (JSC PIMCU, which is a part of JSC Atomredmetzoloto).

During the working trip to Krasnokamensk, the official delegation of Chinese partners examined the fields, selected a site for construction of the factory and familiarized themselves with the infrastructure. Following the results of the meeting, a work schedule of the project implementation was outlined.

Ma Mingliang, head of the delegation, Director General of Beijing Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd., Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Construction Materials, expressed his satisfaction with the results, “What’s the most important is the availability of high-quality limestone and proprietary low-cost coal at PIMCU. Also, there is pyrite cinder, as well as other possible additives required for cement production. Availability of infrastructure, including low-cost electric energy, minimizes investment expenditures. According to my estimation, production costs of Krasnokamensk cement will be 40–50% less than even those at our production facilities in China.”

Sergey Shurygin, Director General of JSC PIMCU, noted that the project is very important for Krasnokamensk development, “This does not only mean creation of new jobs, but providing PIMCU and the future mining and metallurgical cluster with necessary volumes of low-cost cement.”
End products are mainly intended for sale in the Trans-Baikal Territory and neighbouring regions of Russia.

China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd. is ranked second globally in the rating of companies engaged in comprehensive production of construction materials. In 2013, the company’s gross receipts totalled $ 43 bln. Sinopec Corp. is the largest energy and chemical company in the People's Republic of China. Among other things, the consortium owns 400 cement factories in various locations across the world, which aggregately produce 400 million tons of products per annum.

We use cookies and similar tools across our websites to improve their performance and enhance your user experience.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyze how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Does anyone else use cookies on ARMZ websites?
Advertisers sometimes use their own cookies to provide you with targeted advertising. Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
