Kindergarten in Uksyanskoye welcomes new playgrounds and a sports complex
On May 25, 2013, a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in the Village of Uksyanskoye (Dalmatovsky District, Kurgan Region) during which two playgrounds and an athletic field were solemnly transferred to the local kindergarten. The facilities were built using funds provided by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. in accordance with the holding’s policy regarding corporate social responsibility and as part of local development in areas where the holding operates. The equipment was assembled by JSC Dalur employees whose children attend the same kindergarten. The handover ceremony for the newly-established grounds featured the participation of senior management at JSC Dalur, representatives of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. and local government officials.
The organizers made every effort to transform the event into a celebration for all of the village’s tiniest residents. The children were treated to an interactive show featuring fairy-tale characters, contests, bouncy castles and, last but not least, hands-on “field testing” of the new grounds.
This recent event marks the second phase in a project on retrofitting of the kindergarten in the Village of Uksyanskoye (where most JSC Dalur employees live). In 2012, three other playgrounds were delivered, equipment for which was similarly funded by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.
