ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. and Uranium One Inc. took part in ATOMEXPO Forum
ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. and Uranium One Inc. took part in the international forum “ATOMEXPO 2012”, which was held on June 4-6, 2012 in Moscow.
Within the framework of the forum, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. and Uranium One Inc. signed a coordination and integration agreement in the presence of Sergey Kirienko, Director General of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. The agreement sets out a framework for enhanced coordination and integration between the parties in six designated areas — the companies' growth and development strategy, financial reporting and budgeting, marketing and sales, geology and exploration, governmental relations and communication, and human resources. It also extends the validity term of a number of corporate management standards set forth in the amended framework agreement dated June 8, 2010 during consolidation of controlling block of shares of Uranium One Inc.
Ian Telfer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uranium One Inc., took part in the plenary session called “World Nuclear Energy: One Year after Fukushima”. At the round-table session called “Nuclear Industry Development Strategy: through the Processing Chain”, Alexander Boytsov, Executive Vice President of Uranium One Inc., made a report called “Stable Development of the World Uranium Industry — Time Challenge”. Igor Solodov, Geology and Subsoil Use Director of JSC Atomredmetzoloto, spoke at the round-table session called “International Cooperation in the Nuclear Fuel Cycle” about perspectives of the raw materials base development being part of complex supplies.
The forum guests could visit the joint stand of the two companies and get additional information on their activities and development plans.
