Today Begins ARMZSkills-2019 — Third Professional Skills Divisional Competition

For the first time, the competition is hosted by Khiagda, JSC, which develops uranium deposits in the territory of the Bauntovsky-Evenki District of the Republic of Buryatia.
ARMZSkills-2019 takes place in Chita and in the Republic of Buryatia. 72 best experts from all uranium mining enterprises of Russia (Dalur, JSC, Khiagda, JSC and E.P. Slavsky PIMCU, PJSC), as well as RUSBURMASH, JSC specialized exploration and drilling company, arrived to show their professional skills.
«Our competition is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and competencies. I wish everyone that the team of our division will only grow and be reinforced with professionals,» said Vladimir Verkhovtsev, Director General of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., in his video message to the participants of the competition.
Welders, dosimetrists, special vehicle drivers, chemistry lab technicians and experts in occupational safety compete on the industrial site and on the railroad base of Khiagda, JSC, as well as in the laboratory of Trans-Baikal State University and on the working site of the Trans-Baikal College of Professional Technology and Service. The team of Khiagda, JSC, hosting the competition, includes 26 participants and judges, among them the winners and awardees of the last year. For example, the head of the chemical analysis lab Anna Dneprovskaya. She became the winner of the divisional competition ARMZSkills-2018. Having proved her skills, she was appointed the head of the lab and now acts as a judge.
«ARMZSkills is a platform where division experts can share their experience and acquire new knowledge and skills. Our winners will be part of the representative team, which will participate in the industry Championship of professional skill AtomSkills-2019 held by ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation according to the WorldSkills methodology. It will be held in June in Yekaterinburg,» said Stanislav Anikeev, HR director at ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. The winners of ARMZSkills-2019 will be announced on March 22.
