Top-Manager from Mining Division of ROSATOM Ranked in International Top List of Russian Economy Young Leaders

According to Institut Choiseul, French independent analytical center, Igor Semenov, Executive Director of The First Ore Mining Company, JSC, has entered the top hundred of the best representatives of the young economic elite of Russia “Choiseul 100 Russia”. The top list is published by RBK on April 11. The methodology for forming the list includes an assessment of personal achievements, contribution to the transformation of the Russian economy and the potential of Russian entrepreneurs, managers, and hired managers of companies under the age of 40. The Russian list, in fact, is a continuation of the French annual rating “Choiseul 100 France”, which has been compiled since 2013. The goal of the authors of the study is to unite the young economic leaders of Russia and France into a single network.

As part of the international cooperation strengthening, a meeting of representatives of both countries will be held on April 18 in Moscow, and also seminars on the digital economy, artificial intelligence and the smart city are planned. A large delegation from France will arrive in Moscow, including CEOs of world-famous companies (Total President Patrick Pouyanné, owner of Yves Rocher Brice Rocher, who headed the rating of young economic leaders “Choiseul 100 France” in 2018) and special representative for the development of relations with Russia (Jean-Pierre Chevènement). The second meeting of entrepreneurs from the rating is scheduled for autumn 2019. The events should help businessmen of the two countries to make friends, get useful contacts and, possibly, start joint projects.

As Executive Director of The First Ore Mining Company, JSC (subsidiary of Atomredmetzoloto, JSC/ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation), Igor Yuryevich Semenov manages the implementation of the Pavlovskoye project on the development of the polymetallic deposit of the same name in the Novaya Zemlya archipelago. As part of the project, it is planned to build the northernmost plant for the production of lead and zinc concentrates. At the International Arctic Forum, which was held in St. Petersburg, Igor Yuryevich presented alternative design solutions based on the use of innovative technologies in order to increase its economic efficiency and investment attractiveness. Also, Igor Yuryevich supervises the project for the production of mining equipment: an accumulator electric load-haul-dump machine. The project is implemented on the basis of E.P. Slavsky PIMCU, PJSC in the Trans-Baikal Territory in cooperation with the French company ARAMINE.

We use cookies and similar tools across our websites to improve their performance and enhance your user experience.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyze how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies won’t collect information that identifies you, and will instead collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use our websites, or a user’s general location.

Does anyone else use cookies on ARMZ websites?
Advertisers sometimes use their own cookies to provide you with targeted advertising. For example, advertisers may use a profile they have built on sites that you have previously visited to present you with more relevant advertisements during your visit to our site. We believe that it is useful to our users to see advertisements that are more relevant to their interests. Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
