«A World without Terror through the Eyes of Children» Creative Work Exhibition Opened in Moscow on June 27

It was organized by the Regina Yuryeva charity foundation for the support and development of priority social projects.
The project’s general sponsor is the Mining Division of the ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation. Also, «A World without Terror through the Eyes of Children» was supported by the Artists Trade Union of Russia, «Ferroni» Russian-Italian Academy of Painting and UNESCO World Art Committee. The project stimulates the creative abilities of children with special needs and children from low-income families. As part of the project, the children convey their vision of the world using the paints. For three years of «A World without Terror through the Eyes of Children» implementation, charitable thematic painting workshops were held for children in Nizhny Novgorod, Donbass, Moscow, Grozny, and in the areas of uranium production enterprise operation — in the Kurgan region villages of Uksyanskoye and Trud i Znanie and the Trans-Baikal Territory city of Krasnokamensk. The Regina Yuryeva Foundation provided targeted and medical assistance to children with disabilities and orphanages in these regions. The President of the National Union of Non-Profit Organizations Alexander Aygistov gave a speech at the exhibition opening. He emphasized the special significance of the project aimed at developing the spiritual, patriotic education of the younger generation and civic identity. Aues Betuganov, Vice-President of UNESCO World Art Committee, noted that «holding such events expands the aesthetic, cultural and professional horizons of children, and is also aimed at attracting international attention to the global problem of terrorism faced by humanity».
ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. constantly supports charitable and social projects in the operation areas. This year, street exercise equipment and playgrounds were installed at Dobrota social rehabilitation center in Krasnokamensk, a number of projects were implemented in the Kurgan region and the Republic of Buryatia. Special books with 3D illustrations and musical accompaniment for visually impaired children have been handed over to kindergartens of all operation areas. The preparation of the VI social project grant competition began in Krasnokamensk.
Regina Yuryeva reported that «A World without Terror through the Eyes of Children» project implementation will continue. This year, workshops will be held, particularly, in the Kurgan region Uksyanskoye village and in Krasnokamensk. «I want the motto „Beauty and kindness will save the world!“ to become the daily norm of our society,» she said.
