VNIPIpromtechnologii Completed Production Line Design Clean TeQ (Australia) Mining Company
VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC (ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. Engineering Center/Mining Division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation) completed the production line design for Clean TeQ Sunrise Pty Ltd (Clean TeQ) Australian mining company. The contract with Clean TeQ was the first in the design field outside the former USSR in the entire 68-year history of the institute. «In 2018, the Engineering Center provided partners with services to confirm the feasibility of the sorption leaching technology for nickel, cobalt and scandium. Based on the work results, Clean TeQ management decided to continue cooperation, and we designed a site for the sorption extraction of nickel, cobalt and scandium from the pulp,» said Alexey Shemetov, Director General, VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC. An original process solution based on sorption using ion-exchange resins is offered to Australian customers. According to designers, this method is cheaper than the traditional component deposition. The technology takes into account climatic conditions, environmental and industrial safety standards of Australia. Also, the process line equipment was designed with custom parameters required by the customer.
