ARMZ Mining Machinery and MISIS Signed Cooperation Agreement

ARMZ Mining Machinery, LLC and Mining Institute of Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution for Higher Education, MISIS National University of Science and Technology signed an agreement on cooperation in the innovative mining machinery production. The signing took place as part of the V National Mining Forum at the Expocentre, a platform traditionally uniting science, education, and practice. The document was signed by Igor Semenov, Executive Director, ARMZ Mining Machinery, LLC, and Alexander Myaskov, Director, Mining Institute, NUST MISIS.
The agreement establishes the intentions of the Parties on cooperation in terms of personnel training, advanced training of experts and employees of ARMZ Mining Machinery, LLC, as well as research and design work execution, engineering preparation and planning of production and other issues.
Let us remind you that ARMZ Mining Machinery, LLC is implementing a project to localize the mining machinery production using the French company Aramine technologies on the basis of the Repair and Mechanical Plant of PIMCU, PJSC in Trans-Baikal Territory. The loaders produced there have lithium-ion batteries as power source, which eliminates harmful emissions into the atmosphere, and such a solution has no counterparts in the domestic engineering industry. At the moment, 2 units of Aramine-140B load-haul-dump machines assembled by Russian experts have already begun industrial testing at uranium mine. «Our company is implementing a complex engineering project, which is a symbiosis of the design, scientific, engineering, production ideas of Russia and France. Cooperation with NUST MISIS Mining Institute will make it possible to organize the mining machinery production localization at a high quality level. The signed agreement is a logical continuation of our partnership; it determines the nature of further cooperation,» emphasized Igor Semenov.
Currently, employees, masters and students of NUST MISIS are developing design documentation for LHDs manufacture, adapting French developments to Russian standards. The next step will be the study of the manufactured sample industrial testing results, stating recommendations on their operation and production of new ones, as well as advanced training of experts in these matters.
