VNIPIpromtechnologii to Design Chromium Ore Deposit Development for ChEMK
VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC (ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. Engineering Center/Mining Division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation) will design the chromium ore deposit development for Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Integrated Plant, JSC.
The Tsentralnoye deposit is located within the Rai-Iz massif in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, 57 km northwest of the city of Labytnangi. It is necessary to design workings with a length of approximately 12.5 kilometers at a depth of 300 meters.
«The main goal of our work is to increase the underground mine productivity from 350 to 560 thousand tons of ore per year. We carry out similar work for the largest uranium mining enterprise in Russia: E.P. Slavsky PIMCU, PJSC. We carry out various studies of underground mine workings for AK ALROSA, PJSC, Mauksky Mine, JSC and other mining enterprises,» said Kirill Rysev, Development Director, VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC.
Under the contract, detailed design documentation for the facility will be developed, field and engineering supervision will be carried out, and the underground mine ventilation schemes will be improved.
