Welcoming First Employees of New E.P. Slavsky PIMCU Mine No. 6

Currently, the recruitment of personnel for servicing mine water treatment plant (MWTP) of Mine No. 6 has begun. A hydrometallurgist, a pumping unit operator, an electric and gas welder, and locksmiths have already started their work. A separate workshop has been set up to service the MWTP. Training and additional training are organized by the PIMCU Training Center.
«In total, it is planned to employ about a hundred people for the MWTP workshop in the summer of 2020. This year they will participate in the launch of mine water treatment facilities and the treatment technology elaboration. Over 900 jobs will be created at the new mine,» says Ivan Kiselev, Director General, E.P. Slavsky PIMCU, PJSC.
Mine No. 6 construction is ongoing as scheduled. An industrial RPS project, which can significantly reduce the time required to complete the work, is being implemented at the MWTP construction site. The pipeline junction point construction began on the temporary 20-R shaft drainage.
