Vladimir Verkhovtsev Monitored Investment and Social Welfare Projects during Working Visit to Krasnokamensk

The primary project implemented by Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union, PJSC (E.P. Slavsky PIMCU, PJSC, a part of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. management perimeter) is the development of the Argunskoye and Zherlovoye uranium deposits (the construction of Mine No. 6). At the construction site of the mine water treatment plants at Mine No. 6 (MWTP), ARMZ Director General held a meeting with directors of the contracted companies. Vladimir Verkhovtsev paid a particular attention to the fact that they should strictly comply with the OHS regulations for whatever operations they might perform. He also noted that the construction period would be significantly shortened since the contractors shifted to the standards of the Rosatom Production System (RPS).

The RPS projects are implemented both at the MWTP site and in the preparatory work to erect the tipple complex at 19RESh prospecting and production shaft.

PIMCU and the contractors are implementing the RPS engineering standards with the assistance of VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC (ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. Engineering Centre).

«PIMCU is a part of Russia’s backbone and the city’s paramount enterprise. The mineral resources expansion and lower costs of its end products are the most important preconditions for the stable operation of the enterprise and prosperity of Krasnokamensk in the future and these tasks will be addressed by commissioning the new mine. We must therefore move forward ahead of the schedule,» said Vladimir Verkhovtsev.

At the site of PIMCU independent paramilitary mountain rescue team, its commander Igor Mudrak reported that they had completed the program for re-equipping the emergency response group: «We have replaced the specialized equipment and bought up-to-date respirator masks, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, vacuum mattresses, and many other things. The team is ready to undertake tasks at any of PIMCU facilities.»

Much attention is paid by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. to the growth of the priority development area (PDA) of Krasnokamensk. During his visit, Vladimir Verkhovtsev held a meeting to address the progress in the implementation of the investment projects. Mayor Yuri Didenko reported that they had currently registered six PDA residents, with three promising projects pending registration. The planned investment amounts to more than RUB 13 billion, while the city is expected to create 1,615 jobs. The participants of the meeting reviewed in details a project intended to build a plant for the processing of municipal solid waste (MSW) and the production of synthetic liquid fuels and visited Krasnokamensk-based cutting edge healthcare centre Azbuka Zdorovya (‘Health ABC’).

The final point of the working visit was the ceremony of donating one hundred protective one-piece suits, which had been bought at the expense of employees at ARMZ, JSC and PIMCU, PJSC, to the medical professionals at Regional Hospital No. 4. Vladimir Verkhovtsev thanked the doctors of Krasnokamensk and all healthcare staff of the hospital for their hard work.

We use cookies and similar tools across our websites to improve their performance and enhance your user experience.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyze how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies won’t collect information that identifies you, and will instead collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use our websites, or a user’s general location.

Does anyone else use cookies on ARMZ websites?
Advertisers sometimes use their own cookies to provide you with targeted advertising. For example, advertisers may use a profile they have built on sites that you have previously visited to present you with more relevant advertisements during your visit to our site. We believe that it is useful to our users to see advertisements that are more relevant to their interests. If you are based in the European Union and would like to learn more about how advertisers use these types of cookies or to choose not to receive them, please visit www.youronlinechoices.eu.

We also use or allow third parties to serve cookies that fall into the four categories above. For example, like many companies, we use Google Analytics to help us monitor our website traffic. We may also enable third parties to serve cookies to help to identify fraudulent or non-human traffic on some of our websites. We may also use third party cookies to help us with market research, revenue tracking, improving site functionality and monitoring compliance with our terms and conditions and copyright policy.

Can a website user block cookies?
As we’ve explained above, cookies help you to get the most out of our websites. However, if you do wish to disable our cookies then please follow the instructions on https://www.wikihow.com/Disable-Cookies. Please remember that if you do choose to disable cookies, you may find that certain sections of our website do not work properly.

Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
