VNIPIpromtechnologii to Conduct Feasibility Study for Exploration Conditions at Svetlovskoye Ore Field

VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC (the Engineering Center of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. / Mining Division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation) will conduct a feasibility study (FS) for the permanent exploration conditions at the Svetlovskoye ore field, Irkutsk Region. The Engineering Center won the bid for the development of documentation, which was announced by Vysochaishy, PJSC (GV Gold), one of the largest gold producers in Russia. The Engineering Center is expected to conduct a preliminary resource assessment for the Svetlovskoye ore field and specifically develop the feasibility study for the permanent exploration conditions as part of their work. The Svetlovskoye ore field is located in the Bodaybinsky District, Irkutsk Region. It is part of the Tunguska ore cluster, which also includes the Sukhoy Log, Verninskoye, Golets Vysochayshy, and Ugakhan deposits.
It should be reminded that VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC has previously assessed the stability of pit walls at the Drazhnoye deposit in the Oymyakonsky District, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), for GV Gold. In particular, they have provided advice for the optimal parameters of the designed pit walls (i.e., bench height, slope angle, etc.), which would ensure the safety of the mining operations.
