Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign Rolled Out in ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.

More than 120 people have already been vaccinated against the dangerous virus at PIMCU, PJSC, the largest uranium mining plant in the Trans-Baikal Territory, with around 20 workers being vaccinated every day. They primarily include the critical personnel, while the unit managers and all those who wish are to be vaccinated at the next stage.
«PIMCU’s structural units are creating a list of those wishing to be vaccinated against the Coronavirus infection on a voluntary basis. More than 1,300 older workers are also invited to get immunized,» said Sergey Lysenko, OHS Director PIMCU, PJSC.
In total, approximately 550 ARMZ employees are to receive the vaccine during the first phase of the campaign.
«Today, we are deciding how to arrange the mass vaccination process at all sites and, in particular, at the remote enterprises in the Republic of Buryatia and the Kurgan region. The vaccination will generally help to achieve herd immunity, including immunity induced by prior natural infections,» said Stanislav Anikeev, HR Director, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.
