RUSBURMASH Carried Out Feasibility Study of Exploration Conditions with Pyrite-Polymetallic Ore Reserves Calculation at Dzhusinskoye Deposit
RUSBURMASH, JSC (ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. enterprise specialized in geological exploration and drilling operations) experts performed a feasibility study of permanent exploration conditions with estimation of reserves of pyrite-polymetallic ores at Dzhusinskoye deposit. The work was carried out under a contract with ORMET, JSC (an enterprise of the Russian Copper Company Group).
The analysis allowed clarifying the reserves of the deposit, and evaluating the effectiveness of various methods of its further development. «It has been established that C1 category reserves of pyrite-polymetallic ores at the deposit amount to 1,323.6 thousand tons; and C2 category reserves amount to 169.4 thousand tons. Based on the results of the work performed, a justification for the optimal underground development option which provides the most complete development of copper, zinc, sulfur and cobalt reserves was provided. It is the mining method that will make it possible to use the deposit more efficiently and possibly increase the service life,» said Yevgeny Yurenkov, Director of Irkutsk Branch of RUSBURMASH, JSC.
According to the results of 2020, RUSBURMASH, JSC increased its external revenues by 223%; moreover, it was achieved on the condition that the production plan at uranium mining enterprises was fulfilled 100% at the same time. According to the Company’s Director General, Dinis Ezhurov, «ten new major projects are planned for 2021».
