Dalur and Khiagda Once Again Named Leaders of Rosatom Production System
The decision has been made by the Management Board of the project known as the Comprehensive Optimization of Production Processes at Enterprises of the Nuclear Industry.
Earlier, the enterprises held a partnership training event to test the deployment of the Rosatom Production System (RPS), with experts evaluating the RPS deployment at the sites of the uranium producing enterprises in the Kurgan Region and in the Republic of Buryatia. In particular, they reviewed the RPS pilots for the Production of Natural Uranium Chemical Concentrate that had been run at Khiagda, JSC and the Upstream Internal Logistics System at Dalur, JSC. Representatives of the Bilibino NPP; RPS, JSC, and ANO Rosatom Corporate Academy assessed the achievements of Dalur, JSC and Khiagda, JSC in RPS Engineering, Training, Decomposition, Change Management, and Supplier Development. They noted that managers and ordinary employees were involved in the activities aimed at ensuring the best production practices (BPP), and all the targets were achieved, the Board stated.
«In 2020, Khiagda, JSC implemented 32 projects within the Rosatom Production System. All of them are aimed at streamlining and improving the enterprise’s processes», says Andrey Gladyshev, Director General, Khiagda, JSC.
«Dalur, JSC joined the RPS deployment in 2020. Last year, we completed 23 RPS projects, which made it possible to expedite the processes, improve safety and make our production practices better», said Nikolay Poponin, Director General, Dalur, JSC.
The uranium producers are focused on further improvement of their processes.
