Drafting 2020 Reports: Atomredmetzoloto Held Dialogues with All Stakeholders

The public consultations were attended by representatives of Atomredmetzoloto, JSC; ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation; Rosenergoatom; TENEX, JSC, government bodies, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, audit organizations, and the Our Future Foundation. The dialogues were held in a mixed format: videoconferencing was established with the regions of presence, external stakeholders were present in person, and internal stakeholders were online.

Representatives of a wide range of stakeholders had the opportunity to analyze the draft reports in advance. «We are grateful to all the experts who took part in our previous meeting in February and gave their comments and suggestions for improving the Company’s reports. Developing interaction, informing about key projects, strategy and maintaining prompt feedback with stakeholders is one of the most important priorities for the holding,» said Victoria Dolina, CSR and Nonfinancial Reporting Project Manager, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., at the meeting opening.

Victor Svyatetskiy, First Deputy Director General — Executive Director of Atomredmetzoloto, JSC, greeted all the participants of the public consultations. He also spoke about the results of the fight against the pandemic, the measures taken to counter COVID-19, as well as the consequences of the coronavirus infection for the global economy and commodity markets.

Olga Kanunnikova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the urban settlement, informed about the implementation of the project for the development of social entrepreneurship and volunteering in the single-industry town of Krasnokamensk. She recalled that since 2014, RUB 15 million have been allocated for the implementation of 153 initiatives as part of the program for the development of social entrepreneurship in the «uranium capital». Due to ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., the Krasnokamensk Administration and the Small Enterprise Support Fund program, new jobs are being created in the city, the range of services is expanding, environmental and land improvement issues are being addressed, and opportunities are emerging for organizing leisure and sports events.

An interesting case of response from Norilsk Nickel, PJSC to a man-made disaster in Norilsk was presented by Zhan Zagidullin, Partner, Director General of Da-Strategy Corporate Development Agency, member of the RUIE Council for Non-Financial Reporting. The main conclusions that, according to the speaker, should be made by large mining companies are the need to build a real sustainable development management system and establish a dialogue with the environmental community.

The representative of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation Ekaterina Mamiy informed about the switching of the nuclear industry companies to a single brand. In this regard, the reporting format has also changed: all public information on the nuclear industry activities is now reflected in the annual public report of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation. The reports of the divisions (Atomredmetzoloto, JSC; Atomenergomash, JSC; ASE EC, JSC; Rosenergoatom, JSC; TVEL, JSC; TENEX, JSC, etc.) are published as part of the ROSATOM’s annual public report. Ivan Krupyanko, Head of the Corporate Communication Department, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., presented the draft reports, describing the purpose for their preparation and the difference to the previously prepared annual public report. Particular attention was paid to taking into account the suggestions of stakeholders received during the dialogues.

Representatives of stakeholders made suggestions and recommendations for improving the draft reports. The Company’s management thanked the participants of the event for carefully reading the draft and promised to take into account all the comments when finalizing the reports.

We use cookies and similar tools across our websites to improve their performance and enhance your user experience.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyze how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies won’t collect information that identifies you, and will instead collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use our websites, or a user’s general location.

Does anyone else use cookies on ARMZ websites?
Advertisers sometimes use their own cookies to provide you with targeted advertising. For example, advertisers may use a profile they have built on sites that you have previously visited to present you with more relevant advertisements during your visit to our site. We believe that it is useful to our users to see advertisements that are more relevant to their interests. If you are based in the European Union and would like to learn more about how advertisers use these types of cookies or to choose not to receive them, please visit www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
