The Miner’s Day: Krasnokamensk Celebrated Its Major Holiday

Over 400 employees of the country’s largest uranium mining enterprise — Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union (E.P. Slavsky PIMCU, PJSC, managed by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co./Mining Division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation) — were presented various awards.

This year, the epidemiological situation has made adjustments to the holiday program. Due to restriction measures in force in the Trans-Baikal Territory, the traditional procession along Stroiteley Avenue and other cultural events did not take place. The best miners were honored at meetings held in compliance with safety measures by PIMCU’s working teams.

The managers of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., Ivan Kiselev, Director General of PIMCU, PJSC, and Natalya Dmitrieva, Chairwoman of the Union’s primary trade union organization, congratulated miners of underground mines No. 1 and No. 8, the Shaft-Sinking Department, the Urtuiskoye Open Cast Mining Office, and other divisions with their professional holiday. During the festive concert held at the Dauria Palace of Culture, Viktor Svyatetsky, First Deputy Director General and Executive Director of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., conveyed greetings to the working team from Aleksey Likhachev, Director General of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation. He also thanked the Union’s team for their conscientious work on his own behalf. Viktor Svyatetsky presented the signs «For Merits to the Nuclear Industry» to Anatoly Belousov, Head of the Mining Design Section of the Mining Support Department, Gennady Kirillov, an underground electric locomotive driver, Vladimir Khaustov, an underground superintendent of a section of Mine No. 1, and other employees of the Union.

Ivan Reva, Deputy Director General for Special Projects of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., and Stanislav Anikeev, HR Director of Atomredmetzoloto, JSC, addressed the audience with speeches of congratulations and gratitude for their work. They also conveyed congratulations from Vladimir Verkhovtsev, Director General of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.

Aleksandr Osipov, Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory, who took part in the festive celebrations, congratulated the PIMCU’s team: «Real labor is sowing and harvesting grain, processing wood, forging metal and, surely, mining ore. This is the most professional, highly productive, technology-intensive, and talented labor. I thank you for it.»

The Governor presented letters of thanks for their impeccable work, active participation in the social life of the team, great personal contribution to the Company’s establishment, the development of the city and the region to Sergey Dunaev, Chief Mining Engineer of PIMCU, Sergey Chepizubov, a miner of the breaking face at Mine No. 8, and Evgeny Shtcherbina, a miner of the breaking face at Mine No. 1.

The culmination of the celebration was presenting the Miner’s Glory badge. This year, the major miner’s decoration was awarded to Ivan Kiselev, Director General of PIMCU, PJSC, Vladimir Galtsev, an electrical fitter of the Production Support Directorate, Igor Derevyankin, an excavator driver of the Urtuiskoye Open Cast Mining Office, Petr Unger, an electrical fitter of the Production Support Directorate, Mikhail Sharshakov, Chief Specialist of Mine No. 8, Zuffar Akchurin, a specialist of Mining Machines, LLC, Andrey Snigirev, head of an underground drill site of RUSBURMASH, JSC, and others.

Ivan Kiselev noted in his speech that each employee of the Company contributed to the manufacture of the main product. He expressed his gratitude to veterans who had created great labor traditions continued by the current generation of the Union’s employees. The best workers of the Russia’s «Uranium Capital» were also awarded letters of thanks from ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation and ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., badges for labor excellence «Veteran of Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Industry», «For Merits to the Nuclear Industry», and others. A wonderful musical setting for the celebration was the performances of the Trans-Baikal Cossacks song and dance ensemble, Irina Kokhanskaya, Artistic Director of Dauria Palace of Culture, the soloist Siran Agarasov, and Sergey Galanin, famous Russian musician, composer, and singer.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools across our websites to improve their performance and enhance your user experience.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyze how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies won’t collect information that identifies you, and will instead collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use our websites, or a user’s general location.

Does anyone else use cookies on ARMZ websites?
Advertisers sometimes use their own cookies to provide you with targeted advertising. For example, advertisers may use a profile they have built on sites that you have previously visited to present you with more relevant advertisements during your visit to our site. We believe that it is useful to our users to see advertisements that are more relevant to their interests. If you are based in the European Union and would like to learn more about how advertisers use these types of cookies or to choose not to receive them, please visit www.youronlinechoices.eu.

We also use or allow third parties to serve cookies that fall into the four categories above. For example, like many companies, we use Google Analytics to help us monitor our website traffic. We may also enable third parties to serve cookies to help to identify fraudulent or non-human traffic on some of our websites. We may also use third party cookies to help us with market research, revenue tracking, improving site functionality and monitoring compliance with our terms and conditions and copyright policy.

Can a website user block cookies?
As we’ve explained above, cookies help you to get the most out of our websites. However, if you do wish to disable our cookies then please follow the instructions on https://www.wikihow.com/Disable-Cookies. Please remember that if you do choose to disable cookies, you may find that certain sections of our website do not work properly.

Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
