Mining Division Supported Reforestation Programs in Kurgan Region and Republic of Buryatia

By order of Dalur, JSC (part of Mining Division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation), two-year-old pine seedlings were planted as part of the reforestation program in the Kurgan Region. The total reforestation area was about 80 hectares. «Our enterprise is an environmentally responsible subsoil user. We want to participate in preservation of the nature of our native land, so we decided to support the forest regeneration program. In the spring of this year, a planting was carried out by our order on an area of 50 hectares in the Kataysky District of the Trans-Urals. It is known that in summer the Kurgan Region suffered from fires. Therefore, we decided to increase the volume of participation in the program, and finance the autumn reforestation,» said Kamol Kadyrov, First Deputy Director General and Production Director, Dalur, JSC.
In the autumn of 2021, pine seedlings were planted in the Shatrovsky District and on the Staroprosvetsky site of the Kurgan Forestry. The planting was carried out by the Botanichesky Sad, LLC, accredited in the Kurgan Forestry, under the supervision of the Forestry Office of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Kurgan Region. On October 20, employees of Dalur, JSC and media representatives took part in the seedling planting. Together with the employees of Botanichesky Sad, LLC, they completed the planting on a plot of 7.5 hectares near the Skaty village, Belozersky District. Reforestation was also carried out in the Republic of Buryatia.
Khiagda, JSC (part of Mining Division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation) allocated nearly RUB 20 million for participation in the program.
In 2021, the Mining Division will continue to finance reforestation programs in the territories of its operation.
