Kurgan Region: RUSBURMASH Started Construction at Dobrovolnoye Deposit

The works are carried out by request of Dalur, JSC, which is also managed by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. At the deposit, there will be a fully equipped pilot ISL site, a process block, office and amenity buildings, warehouses and other facilities. RUSBURMASH, JSC has begun operations for pit digging, landfilling, and access road construction. It should be noted that they obtained Favorable Opinion No. 45-1-1-3-001048-2020 from Glavgosexpertiza of Russia for the design documentation and the results of the engineering surveys related to the pilot site. The right to use the Dobrovolnoye subsoil plot of federal importance for the exploration and extraction of uranium is granted to Dalur, JSC pursuant to Order of the Russian Government No. 1131-r published on May 30, 2017. In 2018-2019, following the public hearings, local residents approved Dalur’s plans regarding the development of the Dobrovolnoye deposit, while no construction or pilot operations are to be run in the flood prone areas of the Tobol River.

Earlier, in accordance with the license issued by the Federal Agency for Mineral Resources, RUSBURMASH, JSC conducted geological exploration and hydrogeological investigations at the Dobrovolnoye Deposit to delimit the ore body, measure its uranium content and describe the ores and ore-hosting strata. It also confirmed the industrial value of the Dobrovolnoye Deposit, plus the effectiveness and environmental safety of ISL mining, whereas the hydrogeological investigations proved that the ore body was isolated from the overlying aquifers.

«The Dobrovolnoye Deposit is comparable in size with the Dalmatovskoye deposit that we have been developing since 1984. The mining operations in the Zverinogolovsky District will create more than 300 new jobs and provide strategic metal supplies for the nuclear industry for several decades. This is a ribbony deposit, with the total length of the uranium mineralization of about 18 km,» said Dinis Ezhurov, Director General of Dalur, JSC. The mining operations on the pilot site are scheduled for December 2022.

We use cookies and similar tools across our websites to improve their performance and enhance your user experience.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can also do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyze how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies won’t collect information that identifies you, and will instead collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use our websites, or a user’s general location.

Does anyone else use cookies on ARMZ websites?
Advertisers sometimes use their own cookies to provide you with targeted advertising. For example, advertisers may use a profile they have built on sites that you have previously visited to present you with more relevant advertisements during your visit to our site. We believe that it is useful to our users to see advertisements that are more relevant to their interests. Do we track whether users open our emails?
Our emails may contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether, and how many times, our emails are opened and verify any clicks through to links or advertisements within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to users, to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, to check that content is being used in accordance with our terms and conditions, and to inform our advertisers in aggregate how many users have clicked on their advertisements. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should select to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.
