Priority subject of the Report: 10 years’ results: new sustainable development perspectives

In the course of the Report’s preparation, the Holding’s activities for 2017 were analyzed. The Report was prepared in close cooperation with all stakeholders.

In November, 2017 a discussion of the Report’s concept was held in correspondence.

2 discussions regarding the Report’s priority subject were held on January 24, 2018.

Public discussion of the Draft Report were held on April 25, 2018.

The process to determine the information’s significance

According to the International Integrated Reporting Standard and Sustainability Guidelines of GRI SRS, in November, 2017 the Holding’s stakeholders were polled to determine the significant subjects’ priority levels.

According to the poll results, the significant subjects of the Holding’s operations to subsequently expound on them in the Report; a number of subjects were classified as not significant (Suppliers, Workers’ compensation, Forced labor, Local communities, Partner engagement, etc.); some of them were joined with the others (Forced and child labor, Marketing and marking, etc.), some of them were clarified (Allegations - Allegations of human rights violations); some new subjects were introduced (Digitalization).



There were no significant changes in the significant subject’s scope and coverage compared to the prior reports.

The performance indicators provided in the Report are classified among the following frameworks:

  • production indicators were presented based on the assets data of Priargunsky Mining and Chemical Works, Dalur, JSC, Khiagda, JSC, RUSBURMASH, JSC, VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC;
  • environmental indicators were based on the data of Priargunsky Mining and Chemical Works, Dalur, JSC, Khiagda, JSC;
  • staff and occupational safety indicators were based on the data of Atomredmetzoloto, JSC, Priargunsky Mining and Chemical Works, Dalur, JSC, Khiagda, JSC, RUSBURMASH, JSC, VNIPIpromtechnologii, JSC, ARMZZ Service, LLC;
  • financial indicators were based on the reports consolidation framework, in accordance with RAS requirements.

Determination of Information Materiality

In December 2016, during preparation of the Report in accordance with the Integrated Reporting Standard IIRS and the Public Reporting Standard of the “Global Reporting Initiative” (GRI), the questionnaire survey was conducted as applied to the representatives of the concerned parties and the Holding top management within the first dialogue with the parties concerned.

The questionnaire survey was aimed at identifying the material issues to be disclosed in the Report, which represent the most significant economic, environmental and social impact of the Holding.

Following the questionnaire results, adjustment was made and the Holding activity essential issues were determined to be subsequently disclosed in the Report.



There is neither significant change of the scope and limits of material issues nor any restatement of indicators as compared to the previous reports. The performance indicators represented in the Report refer to the following perimeter:

The public annual report of Atomredmetzoloto JSC for 2015 is the eighth report of the Holding where in the integrated form the financial, operating and non-financial indicators are presented, which provide for a comprehensive view of the Company’s activities, including in the field of sustainable development.

The basic difference of this report from the previous one is that special sections devoted to the operation of JSC Khiagda and JSC VNIPIpromtechnologii will be included into it due to the development of the performance improvement program of Uranium Holding “ARMZ”. The information on the key competencies and development prospects of the companies will be brought to the attention of their concerned parties.

The public annual report for 2014 is the seventh report prepared by Uranium Holding “ARMZ” (hereinafter referred to as Atomredmetzoloto JSC, Uranium Holding “ARMZ”, ARMZ, Holding, Company).
